Bagyong Falcon has acquired more strength and has accelerated, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said via its bulletin on Friday.
The tropical cyclone, however, is continuously moving away from the country and was last spotted at 590 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes at 4 a.m.
The bulletin added that Tropical Storm Falcon is still expected to "enhance the Southwest Monsoon and bring occasional rains over Luzon particularly over the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon. "
Moving at a rate of 24kph in a North Northwest direction, the weather disturbance now has maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph.

Northern and Central Luzon will experience monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides while the Southern Tagalog Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog Region and coming from the Southeast to Southwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.

Ang nalalabing bahagi ng Katimugang Luzon ang Kabisayaan at ang Mindanao ay magiging bahagya hanggang sa maulap na may pulu-pulong pag-ulan o pagkidlat- pagkulog lalo na sa dakong hapon o gabi.
